My 50mm f/1.8G AF-S Nikkor Lens (Test Shots)

Since this is my new photo blog, I will still be posting shots from 2011 wherein I bought my first ever SLR cam (Nikon D5000). You can see below the first testing shots taken by my cam using a 50mm f/1.8G AF-S Nikkor Lens. I bought this one in Pixel Pro Shop in ParkMall, Mandaue City, Cebu for Php14,000. I decided to have this kind of lens since I saw sample shots as well from my friend James, love the "blurryness" of the background & how defined the subject is. I also love the "Bokeh" effect of the lens. The disadvantage is that you can't zoom in/out, since it is a prime lens (having fixed focal length, for this it's 50mm). This lens is really great when you start to divulge in photography. I got positive feedbacks from friends as well that the shots where great, especially profile shots. :)
