Rhode Island, USA: A Visit to America's Smallest State ft. Newport Mansions

Considered as the smallest state in America (in terms of area. yes, smaller than Hawaii), Rhode Island is situated in the New England region of the United States. The state's official nickname is "Ocean State" based from its geography that has large bays and inlets.

Traveler's Couch made a visit to one of the tourist attractions of Rhode Island - The Breakers. Built in an Italian Renaissance style, it is a Vanderbilt mansion located on Ochre Point Avenue, Newport as a summer home of Cornelius Vanderbilt II, a member of the wealthy US Vanderbilt family.

You may refer to below photos during the visit and explore the wonders of this small yet amazing state.
