Say hello to "My Bus", a Europe-made, energy efficient metro transit in Cebu, Philippines that will start operating publicly this November 16, 2015. This will be operated by a consortium called "Metro Rapid Transit Services, Inc. (MRTSI)" which is formed by Manila-based Jam Liner, Inc. and Premier Southern Corp. (SM Prime Holdings, Inc. Subsidiary). These 12-meter-long buses are mainly manufactured by Volvo, Mercedez Benz and Daewoo with Euro-5 engines, the first of its kind in the Philippines. The main target of My Bus are those who own private vehicles that aggravate traffic.

MAIN FEATURES
PWD (persons with disabilities)-friendly (Phase 1): The bus includes a ramp that can be lowered for wheelchairs.
WiFi, TV screen, CCTV & GPS-equipped (Phase 1): Stay online & entertained while on the ride and be secured as the buses are tracked inside and out.
Pay-to-Tap Payment System (Phase 2): To ride the bus, the passengers will use the e-PLUS card or tap-to-pay cards (not cash) that can be bought at the SM malls and at the stations. Reload Amount - Minimum of P100 with no load limit and by increments of P100. The card can also be used for cinemas, parking and other merchant services as mentioned by SM Prime Holdings, Inc.
Special Traffic Signals (Phase 3): MRTSI general manager Rico Villaluna pointed out that in the next phase, it plans to implement this special traffic signals that will detect the buses and allow them to pass by turning stoplights to green to assure bus scheduling efficiency.
ROUTE & FARE DETAILS
My Bus route includes Talisay City, Cebu City, Mandaue City and up to Mactan Cebu International Airport, which is same route with the proposed Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project for 2016. Bus stations are still to be determined, but SM Prime Holdings, Inc. said to include SM Seaside Mall, SM City Cebu, Il Corso, City di Mare, Malacañang sa Sugbo and Compania Maritima.
As of November 17, 2015, below are the fare rates of MyBus Metro Cebu as per LTFRB's approval:
