Definitely my summer still on the go as I embrace June with major Beach Destinations. I'm done with
Panglao Island so the next stop: Pandanon Island, Bohol, Philippines - June 9, 2012. This island hopping getaway is actually an annual event with my colleagues from college (
University of San Carlos - USC Computer Engineering Batch 2011). Actually I had a last minute decision to come along with my friends to this known island destination in the province of Bohol. The island is part of the Municipality of Jetafe, it's around 30-45minutes boat ride from Punta Engano, Mactan Island, Cebu (
docking area of boats used for the famous Cebu Island Hopping experience). We used to have the regular boat provider, Eris Tours but my dear friends decided to experience something new this time - an escapade with Islands Banca Cruise. Maybe they call it an "expensive activity" when you avail their services but trust me, it's really worth the rate. ;) You may refer to below photos taken on our way to Pandanon Island via Islands Banca Cruises (

Prior that day, I was already informed ahead that there was an on-going event in the island, the so-called "Bohol WakeFest 2012", a wake-boarding activity which started at May and will end at June (one of the reasons why I decided to join this activity, haha). I envy those who have tried it (I wanted to try but there were already people who got a reservation for such activity), since the rates are OK: Php600 - Half Day activity and Php900 - Whole Day activity. But still, it was worth the visit there in the island because of its prestine white sand beach, the ambiance was really perfect for a group escapade (not so many tourists by that time). It was a fun-filled day indeed at Pandanon Island. We had a short stop at Olanggo Island for some snorkeling and swimming on our way back to Island Banca port at Punta Engano, Mactan Island. You may refer to below photos (click pictures to enlarge).

Everything was definitely amazing as planned. Forget about the rates, the fun and excitement with your close friends will definitely make such experience a memorable one. Special thanks to Islands Banca Cruises for that nice service, job well done. Also to my USC CompE Batch 2011 colleagues for another remarkable escapade, til' next time guyz!
