Established in December 13, 1769 by Eleazar Wheelock, Dartmouth College (commonly referred as Dartmouth) is an Ivy League Research University located in Hanover, New Hampshire. Considered as the smallest university in the Ivy League in terms of the number of students, Dartmouth is one of the nine Colonial Colleges founded before the American Revolution with their Latin motto "Vox clamantis in deserto" or "The voice of one crying out in the wilderness" in english translation.
